Position Details
Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development
- Develop complex PLC programs using Siemens platforms (TIA Portal / Step 7).
- Configure Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500) and distributed I/O systems.
- Design and develop HMI systems (WinCC Comfort / Advanced).
- Develop SCADA applications and reporting structures.
- Perform hardware configuration, IO mapping, and network architecture design.
- Create modular, scalable, and structured control logic.
Industry 4.0 & Digital Integration
- Working Knowledge IIoT-based data acquisition solutions.
- Develop remote monitoring and production dashboards.
- Configure industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, Profibus, Modbus TCP, OPC UA).
- Enable cloud connectivity and data exchange for analytics platforms.
- Support smart factory initiatives and data-driven decision systems.
Project Execution & Commissioning
- Prepare Functional Design Specifications (FDS), IO lists, and control philosophies.
- Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
- Travel to customer sites for commissioning and startup activities.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, loop checking, and system validation.
- Ensure project completion within timelines and technical scope.
Service & Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote service support as required.
- Diagnose and rectify PLC/HMI/SCADA faults.
- Support system upgrades and modifications at existing installations.
- Maintain documentation for service reports and corrective actions.
Technical Leadership
- Review and optimize PLC/HMI/SCADA programs.
- Guide junior engineers on programming standards and best practices.
- Ensure cybersecurity and network reliability in automation systems.
- Maintain version control and proper documentation.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Follow ISO standards and internal documentation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations during commissioning.
- Conduct risk assessments and validation testing.
Technical Expertise
- Advanced Siemens PLC programming (S7-1200, S7-1500)
- TIA Portal engineering
- WinCC (Comfort / Advanced / Professional)
- Structured Text (ST), Ladder Logic (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD)
- Industrial networking (PROFINET, Profibus, Modbus TCP, OPC UA)
- VFD integration and motion control systems
- Control panel architecture and system design
Database/ Industry 4.0 Knowledge
- SQL/database fundamentals for data logging
- Remote monitoring systems
Tools
- Siemens TIA Portal

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens PLC/SCADA programming
- Experience handling complete automation project lifecycle
- Proven commissioning and field service exposure
Willingness to travel frequently for site commissioning and service assignments.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
