About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP CodeIgniter Developer to work on RecurPost, a fast-growing global SaaS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CodeIgniter 3, API integrations, MySQL optimization, AWS infrastructure, and modern web development practices.
You will work with a talented engineering team to build scalable features, improve system performance, manage cloud infrastructure, and integrate leading social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter 3).
- Design efficient MySQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure high application performance.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, including Social Media APIs (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
- Build dynamic and interactive front-end components using JavaScript and jQuery.
- Work with AWS services such as S3 and other cloud resources to support application scalability and reliability.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux/AWS servers, deployments, application configurations, and performance issues.
- Work with Azure Queues (or similar messaging systems) for asynchronous processing.
- Take ownership of assigned modules and features from planning through deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining high-quality coding standards.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues with a strong problem-solving approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
- Conduct research and development for new integrations, technologies, and performance improvements.
- Maintain high-quality code using Git/GitHub version control.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and ensure application stability, security, and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and CodeIgniter 3 (CI3).
- Expertise in MySQL database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and server management.
- Experience managing Linux/Ubuntu servers, deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and modern web standards.
- Experience working with REST APIs, OAuth, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of AWS S3, cloud infrastructure, and scalable application architecture.
- Experience working with Azure Queues or similar message queue systems.
- Experience working with Social Media APIs is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven attitude with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be a Surat local candidate.
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience working on SaaS products.
- Exposure to AWS EC2, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, RDS, and server optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
