Position: Inventory Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control all inventory operations for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system and ensure all inventory transactions are updated on time.
- Create and monitor Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Invoices (PIs), Sales Orders (SOs), Buyer Orders, Tax Invoices, and E-Way Bills.
- Ensure timely inward and outward movement of inventory with proper documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Merchandising, Sales, and Warehouse departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification and reconcile stock variances.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain batch-wise, size-wise, color-wise, and article-wise inventory records for school uniforms.
- Monitor fabric, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and finished garment stock.
- Prepare inventory planning based on production schedules and seasonal demand.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and damaged inventory and submit reports to management.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory practices wherever applicable.
- Coordinate dispatch planning and ensure timely material availability for customer orders and retail stores.
- Monitor inter-store and warehouse stock transfers with complete documentation.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
- Maintain inventory accuracy of at least 98–99% through effective controls.
- Lead and supervise warehouse and inventory staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, housekeeping, and safety standards in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for inventory valuation, GRNs, invoice matching, and stock reconciliation.
- Control inventory carrying costs by minimizing excess stock and reducing material wastage.
- Support internal and external audits by providing inventory records and documentation.
- Develop and implement inventory control SOPs and continuously improve inventory processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
- Perform any additional inventory and warehouse-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
