Role Overview We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, customization, and optimization, alongside a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements.
● Create and modify themes and plugins for enhanced functionality.
● Implement responsive design for optimal user experience across devices.
● Integrate APIs and third-party tools into WordPress sites.
● Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
● Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, bugs, or errors.
● Ensure website security through regular updates and risk mitigation strategies.
● Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality websites.
● Maintain clear documentation of code and development processes. Required Skills & Qualifications
● Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
● Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
● Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
● Familiarity with SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.
● Knowledge of website security practices.
● Ability to work with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
● Experience with Git or other version control systems.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills
● Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins.
● Knowledge of headless WordPress development and JAMstack approaches.
● Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and deployment workflows.
Education :
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or relevant field (or equivalent practical experience).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
