Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 10+ years of experience to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain statutory compliance, manage taxation, and provide strategic financial insights to support the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process efficiency.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for operational planning.
- Oversee inventory accounting, cost allocations, and project-wise profitability analysis.
- Guide and mentor junior accountants in the team to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making with financial insights to support business development and expansion initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualification: CA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and tax filings.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
