Job Summary
National Carriers Corporation (NCC) is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting function of the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and finalization of accounts.
Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm are mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting cycle from transaction recording to finalization of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Journal Entries.
- Prepare and finalize Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, GST Reconciliation & ITC).
- Handle TDS deduction, payment, return filing, reconciliation, and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Prepare and file statutory returns as per applicable laws.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with accounting and taxation regulations.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, financial reports, and management reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and vendor reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and audit activities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
- Assist management with financial analysis and business reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Finalization of Accounts.
- Experience in Statutory Compliance and Audit Coordination.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
Mandatory Requirement
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working with a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Tax Audit, Statutory Audit, and Finalization of Accounts.
- Candidates without CA Firm experience will not be considered.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, CHA, Export-Import, or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
