Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Team Lead / Project Manager to lead our WordPress development team and ensure the successful delivery of multiple web projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing both teams and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of WordPress developers.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Plan and manage multiple WordPress projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.
- Review code quality and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, SEO, and marketing teams.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and resolve project bottlenecks.
- Conduct team meetings, mentor developers, and monitor team performance.
- Ensure website performance, security, responsiveness, and optimization.
- Maintain project documentation and timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, and custom theme/plugin development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization, SEO best practices, and security.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Trello, Jira, or Asana.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing a WordPress development team.
- Experience handling client communication and project delivery.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
