Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, curious, and high-common-sense Senior AI-First Copywriter & Communication Strategist who can quickly understand products, decode target audiences, identify real consumer problems, and create powerful communication that drives engagement and conversions. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond writing captions and scripts. The ideal candidate understands why people buy, what stops them from buying, what captures attention, and how to transform products into compelling communication angles. The individual will work across performance marketing, brand communication, social media content, landing pages, AI-assisted research, campaign ideation, and creative strategy for high-growth brands.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Communication
- Understand products, target audiences, offers, objections, pain points, and buying triggers.
- Develop communication angles that resonate with customers and drive conversions.
- Build content strategies for advertisements, campaigns, social media, and landing pages.
- Create fresh, bold, and performance-driven creative concepts.
- Identify audience motivations, fears, objections, and decision-making patterns.
- Ensure communication is persuasive, clear, and conversion-focused.
Copywriting & Scriptwriting
- Write high-performing scripts for Meta, Google, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other digital platforms.
- Develop compelling hooks, headlines, CTAs, storytelling scripts, founder-led content, UGC scripts, and talking-head videos.
- Create copy for D2C, EdTech, SaaS, coaching businesses, personal brands, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Develop multiple creative variations for testing and optimization.
- Ensure all copy is concise, engaging, emotionally relevant, and easy to understand.
AI-Integrated Research & Ideation
- Utilize AI tools for market research, audience analysis, competitor studies, and content ideation.
- Create effective prompts, frameworks, swipe files, and content systems.
- Stay updated on emerging AI tools, content trends, consumer behaviour, and platform changes.
- Convert AI-generated insights into original, human-centric communication strategies.
Performance Marketing Support
- Collaborate with performance marketers, designers, editors, and founders to build conversion-focused campaigns.
- Understand creative performance metrics including CTR, CAC, ROAS, lead quality, and funnel optimization.
- Review and improve creative assets from a communication and conversion perspective.
- Suggest enhancements in messaging, offer positioning, visuals, hooks, pacing, and CTA structure.
Brand & Content Development
- Help define brand tone of voice, positioning, messaging frameworks, and communication guidelines.
- Develop content pillars, campaign concepts, launch strategies, and monthly content themes.
- Create communication that supports both brand-building and performance marketing goals.
- Ensure all content remains differentiated, relevant, and audience-focused.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to write in Hinglish is an added advantage.
- Strong copywriting, scriptwriting, and storytelling capabilities.
- Deep understanding of consumer psychology and buying behaviour.
- Experience creating performance marketing creatives and ad copy.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Notion AI, Midjourney, Runway, or similar platforms.
- Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex products and communicate them effectively.
- Experience creating content across multiple industries and audience segments.
- Strong collaboration skills with designers, editors, marketers, and founders.
- Good presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of creative outcomes and campaign performance.
- 2–5 years of experience in copywriting, creative strategy, advertising, brand communication, content strategy, or performance marketing.
- Prior agency experience preferred.
- Experience working with D2C brands, EdTech companies, SaaS businesses, coaches, creators, founders, or performance-driven brands is highly preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing ad scripts, campaigns, landing pages, social content, or brand communication work is mandatory.
