Key Responsibilities:
Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, sputum, etc.).
Perform laboratory tests accurately according to standard procedures.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Record and verify test results before reporting.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens.
Follow infection control, biosafety, and quality assurance protocols.
Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
Report abnormal or critical results to the concerned doctor or supervisor.
Monitor laboratory inventory and inform the supervisor about shortages.
Comply with hospital policies and NABH standards.
