Job Description
Techno Specialist Consulting Engineers is seeking an analytical and experienced Structural Engineer to join our core design team in Kochi. This role requires deep proficiency in structural steel design, analysis, and fabrication layouts. If you have 2+ years of experience in steel design software and want to work on complex, real-world execution projects, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
- Perform comprehensive structural analysis and design heavily focused on structural steel frames, connections, and components, alongside reinforced concrete structures.
- Utilize industry-standard design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or RAM Structural System) to ensure safe, cost-effective, and fabrication-ready steel designs.
- Prepare detailed structural steel calculation reports and verify design feasibility for complex geometry.
- Collaborate closely with Tekla and Revit modelers to ensure engineering intent and steel connection details are accurately captured in 3D models.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of active experience in Structural Steel design and analysis.
- Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Strong, proven proficiency in analysis tools like STAAD.Pro or ETABS, with a heavy emphasis on steel design modules.
- Solid knowledge of Indian Standards for steel design (IS 800) and international codes (AISC/British standards are highly preferred).
