About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate production activities, track work orders, ensure timely material availability, monitor production progress, and maintain accurate production records to ensure smooth factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Track production orders from planning to completion.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and update production status reports.
- Coordinate with production, planning, quality, stores, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
- Ensure raw materials, trims, and accessories are available before production starts.
- Maintain production tracking sheets and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Follow up with supervisors and team leaders regarding production targets and delays.
- Update ERP/Excel-based production records accurately.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Support implementation of process improvements and productivity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and production procedures.
- Escalate production issues, shortages, or bottlenecks to management on time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Production, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production coordination role.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Good knowledge of production planning and tracking.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
