Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Repair & Service Engineer to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain products/equipment at customer locations. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service during field visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Address customer complaints and service requests at customer locations.
- Diagnose technical faults and perform repair/service activities.
- Install, test, and commission equipment/products as per company standards.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Maintain service reports, job sheets, and customer feedback records.
- Explain product usage and maintenance guidelines to customers.
- Ensure timely closure of service calls and maintain service quality.
- Coordinate with spare parts and technical support teams when required.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies during field operations.
- Achieve service targets and customer satisfaction levels.
Required Skills
- Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical/electronic/mechanical knowledge.
- Customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in field operations.
- Time management and problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with service tools and testing equipment.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in repair and service operations.
- Experience in home appliances, consumer electronics, or related industry preferred.
- Home appliance, TV repair, and service AC Technicians
Preferred Requirements
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel for field service activities.
- Ability to handle multiple service calls effectively.
