We are actively seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our growing team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight brokerage, carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and customer relationship management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in freight brokerage or logistics brokerage.
- Proven experience in sourcing carriers and managing freight shipments.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Knowledge of load boards, freight management systems, and transportation operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Must be available to join immediately.
Responsibilities
- Source and secure carriers for freight shipments.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers.
- Track and manage shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers.
- Resolve shipment issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
