Duties of the Job
Duties include (Pre Contract – Infrastructure)
- BOQ Preparation
- Preparation of Cost Reports at various design stages including Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design
- Preliminary Budgeting
- Preparation of Tender Documents
- Tender analysis and post-Tender clarification
Reporting Line : Sr. QS / QS Manager
Skills
- Cost Estimation: Strong knowledge of cost estimation for MEP systems and components.
- Budget Management: Ability to manage and monitor budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Tendering & Contract Management: Experience with tendering, bid analysis, and contract negotiations.
- MEP Systems Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, designs, and their associated costs.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to report and collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to assess costs and financial documents with high attention to detail
Education Requirements (Including Certification requirements)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (if experienced in mechanical, plumbing and drainage)
Experience in Years Specific Experience in Region
