About the Role
Inter-ex Logistics is seeking a proactive and skilled Operations and Sales Executive to join our team. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through sales development while ensuring the seamless end-to-end execution of international shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in international markets.
* Build and maintain relationships with buyers and merchant traders to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
* Generate leads via calls, emails, and online platforms.
* Manage pricing discussions, sample arrangements, and order finalization.
Operations & Execution
* Coordinate with mills, suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure smooth order execution.
* Manage container bookings and monitor order readiness/shipment timelines.
* Supervise loading activities at the port as required.
Documentation & Compliance
* Prepare and verify essential export documentation (invoices, packing lists, etc.).
* Ensure full regulatory compliance and coordinate closely with Customs House Agents (CHA).
Client Coordination & Internal Reporting
* Provide timely shipment tracking and status updates to clients.
* Manage client communication, issue resolution, and feedback collection.
* Collaborate with internal management and accounts teams regarding pricing, payments, and process improvements.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Gross Salary: INR 20,000/-
Incentives: Eligible for sales incentives based on successful business generation.
Statutory Benefits: PF and ESI benefits will be applicable upon successful completion of the six-month probation period.
Performance Bonus:Eligible for a discretionary yearly festival bonus based on outstanding operational and sales performance.
Working Hours
Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Work Week: Monday to Friday
Note: Weekend availability may be required based on business needs, shipment schedules, or client commitments.
