Role Description : This is a full-time, on-site Building Management System (BMS) Operator role based in Bhubaneswar. The BMS Operator will monitor and operate building management systems to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, lighting, and other critical systems. Responsibilities include tracking system alarms, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with maintenance teams for timely repairs, and escalating issues as needed to technical supervisors. The role involves performing routine checks, logging daily readings, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting preventive maintenance activities. The BMS Operator will also collaborate with facility management and security teams to support energy efficiency, safety, and comfort for occupants.
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Management, including monitoring, control, and alarm handling.
- Experience with Management Systems and Facility Management (FM) processes, including coordination with technical and maintenance teams.
- Hands-on exposure to Building Maintenance activities related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and other building services.
- Ability to interpret system dashboards, equipment manuals, and technical documentation, with basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort using computer-based control systems, basic office software, and digital reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays if required, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
