Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with wiring, circuits, breakers, and electrical components while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot faults in wiring and components.
- Test electrical systems for safety, continuity, and efficiency.
- Install and repair lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Follow local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction and maintenance professionals as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Requirements:
✅ Experience: Proven experience as an electrician or in a related field.
✅ Education: Diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in electrical work.
✅ License: Valid electrician’s license (if required in your location).
✅ Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
✅ Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
✅ Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long hours.
✅ Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial electrical work.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems.
- Ability to operate testing equipment and power tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
