A Blocks Nexus is building EnsureInsured, a blockchain-powered insurance verification and enforcement ecosystem designed to modernize insurance compliance, fraud prevention, policy verification, and regulatory enforcement through secure digital infrastructure.
The platform leverages Hyperledger Fabric, cloud-native architecture, mobile applications, government dashboards, insurer integrations, and modern API-driven services to create a trusted ecosystem connecting governments, insurers, enforcement agencies, and citizens.
As we scale our engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced UI/UX Product Designer to help implement UI/UX & Product Design.
AI-First Engineering Culture
EnsureInsured embraces an "AI first" software development approach. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize modern "AI powered" engineering tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, Windsurf, or equivalent platforms to accelerate development, improve software quality, enhance testing, automate repetitive tasks, and increase engineering productivity. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in "a human plus AI" development environment while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals, security awareness, and code quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and user-centric experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Conduct user research and translate insights into effective design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and design standards.
- Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility, and responsive design requirements.
- Validate design concepts through user testing and iterative improvements.
- Create clear design specifications and support implementation by engineering teams.
- Advocate for UX best practices and continuously improve product usability.
- Use data, user feedback, and research findings to drive design decisions.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or related roles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI/UX work across web and mobile platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
- Proven experience conducting UX research, usability testing, and user journey mapping.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
- Experience designing wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity interfaces.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
