Position: Logistics Manager

Salary: 25000-30000
1. ROLE PURPOSE
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing dispatch operations, transportation coordination, delivery tracking, warehouse movement, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining proper documentation and logistics control.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. DISPATCH PLANNING AND EXECUTION
- Plan daily dispatches as per sales orders and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for dispatch readiness
- Avoid delays in order fulfillment
B. TRANSPORTATION AND VEHICLE COORDINATION
- Arrange vehicles for dispatch as per delivery requirement
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers
- Ensure proper vehicle loading and route planning
- Monitor vehicle movement and delivery timelines
C. DELIVERY TRACKING AND FOLLOW-UP
- Track all dispatched goods until delivery completion
- Ensure timely and safe delivery to distributors, retailers, or customers
- Follow up on delayed or pending deliveries
- Coordinate with sales team regarding delivery status
D. WAREHOUSE AND STOCK COORDINATION
- Coordinate with warehouse team for finished goods movement
- Ensure correct quantity and batch are dispatched
- Prevent dispatch errors and stock mismatch
- Ensure proper loading and unloading process
E. DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD MANAGEMENT
- Ensure proper dispatch documentation including:
- Invoice
- Delivery challan
- Transport details
- Maintain dispatch records and logistics reports accurately
- Ensure all dispatch entries are properly updated
F. LOGISTICS COST AND DAMAGE CONTROL
- Monitor transportation and logistics expenses
- Minimize delivery damage and material loss during transportation
- Ensure proper handling of goods during loading and unloading
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs
G. COORDINATION WITH DEPARTMENTS
- Coordinate with:
- Sales team
- Warehouse team
- Production team
- Accounts team
- Ensure smooth communication between departments for dispatch and delivery operations
H. CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY
- Ensure proper handling and safe transportation of products
- Monitor loading areas for cleanliness and safety
- Ensure no product damage due to improper handling
I. ISSUE HANDLING AND PROBLEM SOLVING
- Handle dispatch delays, vehicle issues, and delivery problems
- Take immediate action in case of transportation issues
- Report major logistics problems to management
4. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review dispatch plan and delivery schedule
- Coordinate vehicle arrangement
- Ensure dispatch documents are ready
- Track pending deliveries
- Update management regarding dispatch status
5. REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations
- Ability to manage transport and delivery schedules
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Basic computer and reporting knowledge
6. QUALIFICATION
- Graduate preferred
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations preferred
7. WORKING CONDITIONS
- Factory and field coordination role
- Regular coordination with transporters and warehouse team
- 6 days working
