The company manufactures steel products for sectors including construction, transportation, energy, warehousing, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Its product portfolio includes:
· ERW steel pipes and tubes in circular, square, rectangular, hexagonal, and octagonal sections
· Galvanised tubes, sections, and structures supported by in-house galvanising capability
· Structural steel products, including purlins, shutters, and colour-coated roofing sheets
· Solar module mounting structures and renewable energy support products
· Warehouse racking systems and pallet racks
· Metal crash barriers and other specialised cold-formed steel sections
1. Role Purpose
To deliver accurate, timely, and insightful data analysis and reporting support to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management, enabling informed financial planning, performance monitoring, and strategic decision-making.
2. Role Dimensions
1. Data Collection, Validation & Governance
- Collect financial and operational data from multiple sources across the organisation
- Clean, reconcile, and validate data to support accurate and consistent reporting
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and other departments to resolve data-quality issues
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable data-governance standards
2. Dashboard Development & Management Reporting
- Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports for the CFO and Senior Management
- Prepare the monthly CFO Dashboard covering financial and operational KPIs
- Produce management MIS reports on profitability, cost analysis, and productivity
- Present complex information in clear, concise, and decision-ready formats
3. Financial & Performance Analysis
- Perform trend analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions
- Analyse financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and agreed KPIs
- Translate findings into actionable insights for senior leadership
- Prepare ad-hoc analytical reports for strategic projects
4. Budgeting, Forecasting & KPI Support
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles through reliable data preparation and analysis
- Develop and maintain data models used in budgeting and forecasting
- Track financial and operational KPIs and highlight material deviations
- Provide analytical support for financial planning and performance reviews
5. Cross-Functional Data Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and other functions to align data definitions and reporting requirements
- Coordinate the timely collection of inputs required for management reporting
- Promote consistent use of approved data sources and performance measures
6. Reporting Automation & Process Improvement
- Use Excel, Power BI, Zoho Analytics, SQL, and similar tools to improve reporting efficiency
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and strengthen analytical processes
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and completeness of financial and operational reports
- On-time delivery of the monthly CFO Dashboard and management MIS reports
- Reduction in manual effort and reporting cycle time through automation
- Reliability and consistency of data across functions and reporting sources
- Quality and usefulness of insights provided for management decisions
Timely delivery of budgeting, forecasting, KPI-tracking, and ad-hoc analytical support
3. Ideal Candidate Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a corporate finance environment
- Experience with financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate performance analysis
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial-sector reporting is preferred
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Zoho is an added advantage
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Analytics, SQL, or similar analytical tools
- Knowledge of financial reporting, MIS, and corporate performance metrics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with close attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, HR, Operations, and other stakeholders
4. Reporting Relationship
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
