Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Executive – Payroll & HRMS Operations to manage end-to-end payroll processing, HRMS operations, employee data, attendance, statutory compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in payroll processing and HRMS, with excellent knowledge of Excel and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
· Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for employees.
· Ensure accurate processing of salary, deductions, incentives, overtime, arrears, reimbursements, and other payroll components.
· Validate attendance, leave, late marks, shift details, and payroll inputs before processing.
· Handle full & final settlement calculations for exiting employees.
· Prepare payroll reports, salary registers, variance reports, and other MIS.
HRMS Operations
· Manage and maintain employee master data in the HRMS.
· Ensure timely updates related to new joiners, transfers, promotions, salary revisions, and exits.
· Manage attendance, leave, shift, and employee lifecycle transactions in the HRMS.
· Coordinate with HR and IT teams for HRMS-related issues and system improvements.
· Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality across HR systems.
Statutory Compliance
· Support compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity and other applicable statutory requirements.
· Coordinate with consultants/vendors for statutory filings and payroll compliance.
· Maintain payroll and statutory records for audits and internal requirements.
MIS & Reporting
· Prepare monthly HR and payroll MIS reports.
· Generate headcount, attendance, payroll cost, attrition, and other HR reports.
· Analyse payroll data and identify discrepancies or unusual variations.
· Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Employee Grievance Handling & Resolution
· Handle and resolve employee grievances and queries related to payroll, salary, attendance, leave, deductions, overtime, incentives, PF, ESIC and other HR-related matters.
· Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll and HRMS-related concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.
· Hands-on experience with HRMS/Payroll software.
· Good understanding of Indian payroll and statutory compliance.
· Advanced MS Excel skills – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, data validation, etc.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills.
· Good attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent coordination and communication skills.
· Ability to handle confidential employee information.
· Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Qualification
· Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
· Additional certification in Payroll/HR Operations will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
· Experience in jewellery/manufacturing/retail or other high-volume workforce environments will be preferred.
· Experience working with HRMS and payroll systems such as HROne, or similar platforms will be an advantage.

· Payroll accuracy and timely processing.
· Accuracy of attendance and employee master data.
· Timely statutory compliance.
· Resolution time for employee payroll queries.
· Accuracy and timeliness of HR MIS.
· HRMS data integrity and process compliance.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
