Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems of packaging machines, conveyors, filling machines, labeling machines, coding machines, and other production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical and automation equipment.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new packaging machines and production lines.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, and servo-based systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and panel layouts.
- Identify recurring electrical problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve machine availability.
- Maintain electrical panels, power distribution systems, MCCs, control panels, and plant utilities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable standards.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and machine modifications.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and improvements in machine efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors and machine suppliers for technical support and commissioning.
- Maintain critical electrical and automation spare-parts inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, automation, or packaging machinery.
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
