We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager – IT Hardware, CCTV & Networking to manage branch operations, sales, business development, technical coordination, customer relationships, and team performance.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of the IT Hardware, CCTV Surveillance, Networking, Security Solutions, and IT Infrastructure market, along with the ability to identify market opportunities, understand competitor pricing, develop new business, and achieve branch revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Branch Management
- Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Set and achieve branch sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Manage sales, technical, service, and support teams.
- Allocate targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales, technical, purchase, accounts, and service teams.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities in IT Hardware, CCTV, Networking, and IT Infrastructure.
- Generate leads through corporate visits, references, networking, tenders, and other business channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate, SME, institutional, and government customers.
- Handle key accounts and major customer relationships.
- Prepare and review quotations, proposals, tenders, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining company margins.
- Drive AMC, annual service contracts, and recurring business.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding customer payments.
3. Market Knowledge & Market Development
- Maintain strong knowledge of the local and regional IT Hardware, CCTV, Networking, and Security Solutions market.
- Monitor market demand, customer requirements, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Track competitor products, pricing, offers, services, and market strategies.
- Identify new products and solutions that can be introduced by the company.
- Develop knowledge of major brands, distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Understand product pricing, margins, availability, warranty, and market positioning.
- Identify new customer segments, territories, and business opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
- Develop strategies to increase the company's market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, vendors, and channel partners.
4. Product & Technical Understanding
The candidate should have working knowledge of:
- Desktops, laptops, workstations, and servers.
- Printers, scanners, UPS, storage, and other IT peripherals.
- Routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and access points.
- LAN/WAN infrastructure and structured cabling.
- IP and Analog CCTV systems.
- DVR/NVR, IP cameras, PTZ cameras, and video surveillance systems.
- Access control and biometric systems.
- Fiber optic networking.
- Server and storage solutions.
- AMC and managed IT services.
- Basic cybersecurity and IT infrastructure concepts.
5. Vendor & Channel Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers.
- Negotiate purchase prices, credit terms, schemes, and availability.
- Monitor vendor performance and product availability.
- Identify new vendors and alternative brands.
- Maintain healthy vendor and channel-partner relationships.
6. Team Management
- Recruit, train, guide, and motivate branch employees.
- Set individual targets and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and sales reviews.
- Develop sales and technical capabilities within the team.
- Resolve internal and customer-related issues effectively.
7. Customer & Project Management
- Understand customer requirements and ensure appropriate solutions are proposed.
- Coordinate site surveys, quotations, installations, and project execution.
- Ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Handle escalated customer complaints.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
8. Financial & Commercial Management
- Monitor branch revenue and profitability.
- Control operating expenses.
- Review gross margins and project profitability.
- Monitor receivables and payment collections.
- Approve or recommend commercial terms within company policies.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoicing and collections.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. IT/MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in IT Hardware, CCTV, Networking, Security Solutions, or IT Infrastructure.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a managerial or branch-handling role preferred.
- Strong experience in B2B/corporate sales and business development will be an advantage.
