The Horticulture Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and maintaining landscape and horticultural activities to ensure healthy plant growth, aesthetic landscape quality, and proper maintenance of gardens, lawns, and green spaces. The role includes managing horticulture staff, monitoring plant health, and ensuring landscaping projects are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily horticulture and landscape maintenance activities.
- Plan and implement planting schedules for trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
- Monitor plant health, irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest control programs.
- Guide and train gardeners and landscaping workers.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of horticulture tools and equipment.
- Inspect landscapes, gardens, parks, and green areas regularly to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers for landscape development projects.
- Maintain records of plant inventory, fertilizers, pesticides, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
- Manage irrigation systems and water usage efficiently.
