Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support the Accounts & Finance team. The candidate should have practical experience in purchase and sales accounting, invoice processing, purchase order management, E-Way Bill generation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices accurately.
- Verify purchase bills with Purchase Orders (POs) and GRNs, where applicable.
- Create, track, and maintain Purchase Orders.
- Generate and manage E-Way Bills for inward and outward shipments as per GST requirements.
- Record purchase and sales transactions in accounting software.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, POs, delivery challans, and financial records.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth transaction processing.
- Assist with GST-related documentation and statutory compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of purchase and sales accounting.
- Knowledge of invoice processing and purchase order management.
- Good knowledge of GST and E-Way Bill procedures.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Com / Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Knowledge of GST, E-Way Bill generation, and basic accounting principles.
Languages
English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
