This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

This role contributes to Process Automation in the Energy division in the Bangalore, India region
You will be mainly accountable for:
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
10–15 years of relevant experience in the design, selection, and engineering of electrical systems and equipment.
Strong expertise in: Switchgear, Transformers, Substations
Experience in the selection and specification of switchgear components.
Proficient in the preparation and review of Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
Experience in preparing technical offers and proposals.
Strong understanding and development of electrical engineering drawings and layouts, including: Earthing Layouts, Lighting Layouts, Cable Sizing Calculations, Cable Routing and Layout Drawings
Ability to develop, review, and interpret electrical layout drawings and engineering documentation.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
