We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the architecture, development, and execution of AI-powered healthcare products. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, SaaS product development, and healthcare technology. The CTO will be responsible for building products from scratch, defining the technology roadmap, leading engineering teams, coordinating with international clients and stakeholders, and delivering scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare solutions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical expertise while also being capable of driving product strategy, innovation, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and development of AI-powered healthcare products from concept to production.
- Build scalable SaaS platforms and enterprise-grade healthcare applications from scratch.
- Define and execute the company's long-term technology vision and product roadmap.
- Lead engineering, AI/ML, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design scalable cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Drive AI/ML initiatives including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, and predictive analytics.
- Build healthcare products such as Ambient Scribes, Clinical Documentation, Medical Coding, Voice AI, Patient Engagement, EHR/EMR integrations, and clinical workflow automation.
- Work closely with product managers, clinicians, healthcare experts, and business stakeholders to define product requirements.
- Coordinate directly with international clients, investors, healthcare providers, and enterprise customers.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and client presentations.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and security policies.
- Ensure products meet HIPAA, GDPR, HL7, FHIR, SOC 2, and other healthcare compliance standards.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering and AI teams.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies to improve product capabilities.
- Define technical KPIs, engineering processes, and delivery milestones.
- Manage project planning, risk assessment, resource allocation, and technology budgets.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, Product, QA, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Drive innovation, research, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or similar LLMs.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, Django, Flask, Java, Node.js, or .NET.
- Strong knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, and vector databases.
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and Model Evaluation.
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and vector databases.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, application security, encryption, and secure software development practices.
