- Strong data center networking & Layer‑3 fundamentals
- Cisco ACI (Multi‑Pod, Multi‑Site) design and operations
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switching (vPC, STP, LACP, VLANs, VRFs, QoS)
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS‑IS (MPLS concepts)
- DC‑DR network architecture and resiliency design
- Enterprise firewalls: FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto
- F5 technologies – LTM, GTM/DNS, WAF
- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and stakeholder communication
