Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to build and manage the people function for a fast-growing D2C / e-commerce company. The role will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, employee management, attendance, payroll coordination, performance tracking, team culture, HR policies, and day-to-day people operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can work in a fast-moving startup environment and create structure as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end hiring for roles across customer support, operations, marketing, content, design, warehouse, IT, and leadership.
- Write and post job descriptions on job portals, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, referrals, and recruitment platforms.
- Screen CVs, conduct first-round interviews, and coordinate final interviews with department heads.
- Maintain a hiring tracker with role status, candidates, interview feedback, offers, and joining dates.
- Build a strong pipeline of candidates for frequently hired roles.
2. Onboarding & Training
- Create a structured onboarding process for all new joiners.
- Ensure new employees understand company policies, reporting structure, tools, attendance rules, and role expectations.
- Coordinate with department heads to create role-specific training plans.
- Track new employee performance during probation.
3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
- Maintain attendance records and leave approvals.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, deductions, incentives, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Ensure salary processing data is accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain employee documents, contracts, ID proofs, bank details, and HR records.
4. Performance Management
- Set up monthly performance review systems with team leads.
- Track KPIs for different teams such as customer support, operations, marketing, content, warehouse, and sales.
- Manage probation reviews, confirmation letters, warning letters, and performance improvement plans.
- Help identify high-performing employees and employees needing support or training.
5. Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Help maintain discipline, professionalism, and accountability across teams.
- Build a positive, energetic, and performance-driven company culture.
- Organise team meetings, feedback sessions, employee engagement activities, and recognition programmes.
6. HR Policies & Compliance
- Create and maintain HR policies including leave policy, attendance policy, code of conduct, disciplinary policy, work timings, confidentiality, and termination process.
- Ensure employee contracts, NDAs, offer letters, appraisal letters, and exit documents are properly maintained.
- Ensure compliance with basic labour law requirements and company processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
7. Exit Management
- Manage resignation, notice period, handover, exit interviews, and final settlement coordination.
- Identify reasons for attrition and suggest improvements to reduce employee turnover.
- Ensure company assets, data access, and documents are recovered before exit.
Pay: ₹15,500.29 - ₹35,000.00 per month
