Vestas Technology & Operations > Procurement > GP-CAPEX
This role is a part of Global Procurement CAPEX team, working as Purchaser leading global and regional procurement activities of CAPEX equipment across Vestas's manufacturing sites while supporting our global Purchase Managers in complex negotiations and supplier relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Lead selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting of suppliers, as well as participating in cross functional development projects
- Handle CAPEX projects globally across service, manufacturing and technology
- Secure cost reduction targets are met through cost out projects
- Lead Supplier relationship and performance management
- Perform continuous stakeholder management
Qualifications
- Good negotiator and communication skills including fluent English skills (both orally and in writing)
- Familiar with total cost of ownership (TLC), contract drafting for project and maintenance/service frame agreements
- Proven project strategic, analytical/structured and fact-based approach
- Minimum 3 years of work experience within Strategic/Project Procurement, preferred within CAPEX project experience
- Relevant educational background with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing or Engineering
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 (PPT, Excel & Word) and knowledge of SAP is an advantage
