JD for Purchase Officer Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Purchase Officer to join our team, We are from Food Equipment Manufacturing industry which is well known in the Global Market.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the procurement of raw materials and consumable goods, coupled with strong negotiation skills and in-depth market knowledge.
Responsibilities:
1. Source and procure raw materials and consumable goods for the manufacturing process.
2. Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about market trends, pricing, and suppliers.
3. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
4. Evaluate and select suppliers based on their reliability, quality of products, and pricing.
5. Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
6. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
7. Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
9. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Purchase Officer in the Food Equipment Manufacturing industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3. Proven track record of successful negotiation and cost reduction in procurement.
4. Strong understanding of raw material specifications and quality standards.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
