THE ROLE
We are hiring for the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO, Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery. The candidate should possess 5-7 years (higher experience preferred) of similar experience in managing the CEO/MD/Chairman's office and ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, smart, and have excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in MS Office, Canva, and online meeting platforms. This role involves various responsibilities and expertise, as mentioned below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative Support:
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, document management, and record-keeping.
- Manage the CEO's expense reports and reimbursement requests.
2. Project Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
3. Communication and Presentation:
- Draft, edit, and proofread emails, reports, and presentations for the CEO.
- Ensure that all communication on behalf of the CEO is clear, accurate, and professional.
4. Analytical Tasks:
- Conduct data research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze various reports, including financial data, enrollment statistics, and operational metrics.
5. Report Writing:
- Generate comprehensive reports on institute performance, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Summarise complex data into concise and actionable reports for the CEO and senior management.
7. MIS Report Management:
- Develop and maintain a system for collecting, organising, and presenting national Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.
8. Calendar Management:
- Efficiently manage the CEO's daily schedule, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prioritize and coordinate various commitments to ensure the CEO's time is optimized.
9. Comprehension Skills:
- Quickly understand complex issues and provide crisp summaries and recommendations to the CEO.
10. Confidentiality:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s in Commerce, Arts, Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A master's degree will be preferred.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
- Smart, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Prior experience in the education/training sector or gems and jewellery industry is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
