- Transportation Management: Plan delivery routes, select transport methods track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory & Warehouse Coordination: Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages or overstock, and assist warehouse staff with receiving and dispatching goods.
- Vendor Negotiation: Build relationships with suppliers, carriers, and 3PL providers to establish cost-effective contracts and secure competitive freight rates.
- Documentation & Compliance: Handle critical shipping documents (e.g., invoices, bills of lading, customs paperwork) and ensure operations comply with safety and legal regulations.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze logistics data and generate reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
