Welder & Fitter (FMCG Production Machinery)

Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Welder & Fitter for an FMCG production unit. The candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, gas cutting, and maintenance of FMCG production machinery. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and fabrication work while ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fitting, fabrication, and gas cutting of machine parts and structures.
- Repair, maintain, and install FMCG production machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Replace bearings, shafts, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.
- Operate welding and gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure machine alignment, proper functioning, and minimum production downtime.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Welder & Fitter in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with FMCG production house machinery.
- Proficiency in welding, fitting, and gas cutting.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills.
Preferred Candidate Location: Ramchandrapur, Narendrapur, Sonarpur, Baruipur, Garia, and nearby areas of South 24 Parganas.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
