Job Summary: The KG Support Teacher assists the Kindergarten Class Teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves supporting the lead teacher with classroom activities, student supervision, and administrative tasks to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum. --- Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher in executing daily lesson plans and activities. Support individual and group learning experiences through hands-on activities. Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and organization at all times. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in line with school policies. Assist in preparing teaching aids, learning materials, and bulletin boards. Supervise children during recess, lunch, and transitions. Attend to the personal needs of students, including toileting and meals, if required. Observe and report student progress, challenges, and behavior to the class teacher. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when necessary. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. --- Qualifications and Skills: Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary / Diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred). Experience working with young children in a preschool or KG setting is an advantage. Patience, warmth, and a child-friendly approach. Good communication skills in English and/or regional language. Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
