Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer (Designer) to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems, aluminium products, and industrial components while ensuring high quality, safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CATIA or similar software.
- Develop fabrication and assembly drawings for aluminium products and structures.
- Coordinate with production and project teams for design execution.
- Conduct design analysis, material selection, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering calculations.
- Supervise prototype development and support testing activities.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing-related issues.
- Maintain design documentation and engineering records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication/design preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering drawing standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial/project-based manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, structural design, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with production planning and quality control.
