Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and organized Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at A R COMPUTERS IT SERVICES. This is a 100% in-office role where you will act as the crucial link between our clients and our field engineering team. Your primary focus will be assigning tasks, managing technical schedules, and providing exceptional on-call support and regular updates to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Engineer Management: Assign, schedule, and track tasks for Field Engineers to ensure timely resolution of on-site IT issues.
- On-Call Client Support: Provide first-level technical support to clients over the phone and via remote desktop tools.
- Client Communication: Keep clients regularly updated on the status of their service requests, ongoing maintenance, and ticket resolutions.
- Task Coordination: Act as the central point of contact, ensuring smooth communication between the technical team and the clients.
- Issue Tracking: Maintain accurate logs of client issues, assigned tasks, and final resolutions in the tracking system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Specialist, IT Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle client calls and updates.
- Good understanding of basic IT hardware, networking, and remote support tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple field engineers and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work smoothly in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
