About the Role
As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP ABAP and OData solutions across the organization. Working closely with Business Analysts, Process Owners, and SAP functional teams, you will contribute to solution design, development, testing, performance tuning, and production support activities.
You will have the opportunity to work across a broad SAP environment supporting key business functions including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP solutions and enhancements.
- Develop and support SAP OData and SAP Gateway services.
- Build and maintain RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
- Deliver solutions using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Business Process Owners to understand requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Provide effort estimations, technical designs, and progress updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP application and integration issues.
- Analyze and improve SAP system performance using standard SAP monitoring and tracing tools.
- Support integration development using IDocs, RFCs, APIs, Web Services, and related technologies.
- Participate in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing activities.
- Produce and maintain technical specifications and development documentation.
- Support SAP job scheduling, execution monitoring, and production incident management.
- Collaborate with functional teams across Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD).
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

- BAdIs
- SAP Data Dictionary
Integration & OData
- 2+ years of experience with:
- SAP Gateway
- OData Services
- 5+ years of experience with:
- IDocs
- RFCs
- APIs
- Web Services
Performance & Troubleshooting
- Strong experience with:
- ST05
- SAT
- ST12
- SQL Trace Analysis
- Advanced debugging and issue resolution capabilities within SAP environments.
- Experience supporting full SAP development lifecycles, including:
- Technical Design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Production Support
- Experience supporting SAP ECC upgrades.
Methodologies & Tools
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Experience using tools such as:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Bitbucket
Desirable Skills:
- SAP Fiori / UI5 Development
- SAP S/4HANA Development
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- DevOps, Transport Management, and Version Control tools
- Experience with additional programming languages such as:

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
