Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to join our resort team in Thekkady. The ideal candidate should be capable of supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain resort standards
- Train and guide housekeeping staff
- Prepare staff schedules and assign duties
- Ensure proper use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
- Coordinate with front office and maintenance departments
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience as Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or resort
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure
- Basic communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management is an advantage
- Experience working in resorts or hospitality industry preferred
