Plant Electrician – Industrial Maintenance

Pairan Group is hiring an experienced Plant Electrician for electrical maintenance and breakdown support at its tyre-pyrolysis and TPO-processing facility in Perundurai SIPCOT.
This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role. The candidate must be comfortable working in a factory environment with motors, panels, pumps, conveyors, process equipment, lighting systems and shift-based breakdown requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend electrical breakdowns in motors, pumps, starters, panels, lighting, cabling and plant equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical systems, control panels, motors, MCC panels, VFDs and switchgear.
- Check and maintain earthing, wiring, overload relays, contactors, MCBs, cables and basic control circuits.
- Support maintenance of tyre-pyrolysis plant equipment, centrifuge systems, pumps, conveyors, blowers and utility equipment.
- Assist in DG set, compressor, cooling system, water pump and general utility electrical maintenance.
- Report unsafe wiring, overheating, loose connections, electrical leakage and abnormal equipment conditions.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, breakdown reports, material requirements and pending-work records.
- Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, fire safety and safe electrical working practices.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisor, plant operations team and external service technicians when required.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an electrician in manufacturing, engineering, chemical, recycling, textile, foundry, rubber, plastic, oil-processing or similar industrial plants.
- ITI Electrician / Diploma Electrical / Wireman licence preferred.
- Practical knowledge of motors, starters, panels, VFD basics, cabling, earthing and troubleshooting is required.
- Ability to read basic electrical connections and identify common faults.
- Experience in shift maintenance and emergency breakdown support is preferred.
- Tamil communication is required; Hindi is an advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work from Perundurai SIPCOT and support plant operations whenever required.
