Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Charge Entry Executive to join our US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering patient charges into billing systems, reviewing documentation, and ensuring timely claim preparation. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter patient charges accurately into the medical billing software.
- Review charge sheets, encounter forms, and provider documentation for completeness.
- Verify CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes before charge entry.
- Ensure charges are entered within the required turnaround time.
- Identify missing or incorrect information and coordinate with internal teams for clarification.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy while meeting daily productivity targets.
- Follow client-specific billing guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Support claim submission by ensuring charge data is complete and accurate.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and company data.
- Participate in quality audits and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Any Graduate).
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of medical billing or US healthcare is an advantage.
- Good typing speed with strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in night shifts aligned with US business hours.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding.
- Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
