About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM ABAP Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) ABAP development.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, debugging, and supporting SAP EWM solutions using ABAP, while working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable warehouse management solutions.
Candidates with only generic SAP ABAP experience and no hands-on SAP EWM development experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP EWM ABAP programs and custom developments.
- Work on ABAP developments related specifically to SAP EWM processes and warehouse operations.
- Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows (RICEF) within EWM.
- Develop and maintain custom EWM enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement implementations.
- Work with EWM function modules, classes, methods, APIs and standard EWM objects.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Work on Warehouse Order, Warehouse Task, Warehouse Process Type, Delivery and Handling Unit-related developments.
- Develop and troubleshoot interfaces using technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services/OData, where applicable.
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of EWM-related technical issues.
- Optimize existing ABAP developments for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with SAP EWM Functional Consultants to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and unit test scenarios.
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Follow SAP development standards and ensure high-quality, reusable code.
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory:
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP EWM ABAP development experience.
- Strong practical experience in SAP EWM technical development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP/ABAP Objects.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
