Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Open/close the store, manage staff shifts, and delegate tasks to maintain efficiency.
- Beverage & Food Service: Prepare high-quality espresso drinks and beverages according to recipes while serving food items.
- Customer Experience: Greet customers, take orders, and resolve complaints to ensure a positive experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to prevent shortages.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate espresso machines and grinders, performing routine cleaning and troubleshooting to keep equipment running.
- Safety & Sanitation: Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards for the bar, seating, and restroom areas.
- Financial Accountability: Handle cash transactions, process payments, and ensure accurate cash handling.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional coffee preparation techniques, strong customer service, leadership abilities, and proficient communication.
- Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques, equipment operation, and food safety regulations.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds.
