- Decontamination: Collect, sort, decontaminate, and clean soiled surgical instruments, linen, and medical devices using ultrasonic washers and disinfectants.
- Inspection & Assembly: Carefully examine instruments for functionality, damage, or wear, and assemble them into specific surgical trays or kits.
- Sterilization: Operate and monitor specialized sterilization equipment, such as steam autoclaves, plasma sterilizers, and Ethylene Oxide (ETO) sterilizers.
- Packaging & Labeling: Package and wrap instruments securely, labeling them with sterilization dates and indicators for proper tracking.
- Quality Assurance: Perform biological and chemical testing on sterilizers to verify they are functioning correctly and complying with safety regulations.
Distribution & Inventory: Manage the inventory of sterile supplies, restock items in designated areas, and coordinate with the Operating Theater (OT) to ensure timely
