Position: Sales Manager – Rooms & Banquets
Department: Sales & Marketing
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in hotel sales, preferably in rooms and banquet sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate room and banquet business through corporate, travel agents, event planners, and other sales channels.
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for rooms and banquet sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong client relationships.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel presentations, and site inspections.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Banquets, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and follow up on leads regularly.
- Participate in trade fairs, networking events, and promotional activities to generate business.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to increase market share.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, with exposure to room and banquet sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the local corporate market and hospitality industry.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/PMS software is preferred.
