Manager – FIT& GIT (India & SAARC Countries)
Job Location: Ernakulam
Job Summary
The Manager – FIT & GIT India & SAARC Countries will be responsible for leading and managing the sales and operations of FIT and GIT holiday products across India and SAARC destinations. The role will focus on achieving revenue and profitability targets, developing competitive tour packages, managing key customer relationships, leading the team, and ensuring seamless service delivery.
The position requires strong knowledge of Indian and SAARC destinations, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage both individual and group travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management
- Develop and execute sales strategies for FIT and GIT products covering Indian and SAARC destinations.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor team performance against sales targets, conversion ratios, average booking value, and profitability.
- Drive new customer acquisition and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Handle and support high-value, group, and key customer accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities through direct sales, travel partners, and other channels.
- Review quotations and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining required margins.
- Monitor receivables and coordinate with the Finance team for timely collections.
FIT & GIT Tour Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of customized FIT itineraries and GIT packages.
- Develop attractive and commercially viable holiday packages for Indian and SAARC destinations.
- Ensure proper coordination of hotels, transportation, sightseeing, activities, guides, permits, and other travel services.
- Handle complex group requirements, special requests, and customized itineraries.
- Ensure accurate costing, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policies, and other package details.
- Review and approve quotations and itineraries within the company's pricing and approval guidelines.
Team Management
- Lead, guide, and monitor the FIT & GIT sales team.
- Allocate leads and enquiries among team members based on workload and business priorities.
- Set individual and team targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Coach team members on sales techniques, destination knowledge, negotiation, and customer handling.
- Monitor follow-ups and ensure timely closure of leads and enquiries.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective and improvement measures.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and productivity within the team.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, travel agents, and business partners.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales and travel journey.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Travel & Tourism or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in holiday sales/travel operations, with relevant experience in FIT and GIT handling.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
- Strong experience in Indian and SAARC destination products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Experience in handling group tours, customized itineraries, and high-value bookings.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per week
