Job Summary
The Injection Moulding Operator is responsible for operating injection moulding machines, conducting quality inspections, performing packing activities, and supporting dispatch operations. The candidate should ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Injection Moulding Operations
- Operate injection moulding machines as per standard operating procedures.
- Monitor machine parameters and production output.
- Load raw materials and ensure smooth machine operation.
- Report machine malfunctions and assist in basic troubleshooting.
Quality Checking
- Inspect moulded parts for visual and dimensional defects.
- Identify and segregate rejected or non-conforming products.
- Maintain quality inspection records.
- Ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.
Packing
- Count, sort, and pack finished products according to packing specifications.
- Use appropriate packaging materials to prevent product damage.
- Label packed materials accurately with part details and quantities.
- Maintain packing records and stock accuracy.
Dispatch Support
- Verify product quantities before dispatch.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Assist with loading and dispatch documentation.
- Coordinate with stores and dispatch personnel for timely delivery.
General Duties
- Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards.
- Support production, quality, and maintenance teams as required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years in injection moulding, manufacturing, quality inspection, packing, or related production activities.
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / HSC (12th Pass).
- Basic knowledge of plastic moulding processes.
- Ability to identify common moulding defects.
- Familiarity with quality inspection and packing procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in plastic component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and gauges.
- Understanding of quality standards and production documentation.
Salary: As per industry standards and experience.
Location: Chennai / Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
