Job Title: SEO SpecialistAbout the Role
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to manage and improve the online visibility of our websites, Google Business Profiles (GMB), and Google Maps rankings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, local SEO strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies
- Optimize website content, structure, and technical elements for better rankings
- Manage and improve Google Business Profile (GMB) performance
- Optimize listings for Google Maps rankings and local SEO
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Perform regular SEO audits and fix technical issues (indexing, crawl errors, speed, etc.)
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies
- Track, analyze, and report performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
- Improve local citations, NAP consistency, and directory listings
- Work closely with content and development teams to implement SEO best practices
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in SEO (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Local SEO & GMB optimization
- Experience with tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Understanding of technical SEO (site speed, indexing, schema, etc.)
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
- Strong communication and reporting skills
Good to Have
- Experience handling multiple local business listings
- Knowledge of Google Maps ranking factors
- Experience in content marketing & SEO copywriting
- Familiarity with WordPress / Laravel or CMS platforms
