We are looking for a polite, well-spoken, and organized Receptionist to manage the hospital front desk, guide patients, coordinate appointments, and provide excellent patient support. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and should maintain a professional and caring attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management
- Welcome and guide patients and attendants
- Handle patient registration and appointment booking
- Maintain OPD/IPD records accurately
- Answer phone calls and WhatsApp enquiries professionally
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and pharmacy
Patient Communication
- Explain doctor availability and consultation timings
- Provide information about hospital services and health packages
- Guide patients regarding investigations, admissions, and procedures
- Handle patient complaints politely and escalate when required
Billing & Documentation
- Assist in billing coordination and payment collection
- Verify patient details and insurance information
- Maintain daily patient registers and appointment records
- Ensure proper filing of reports and documents
Digital & Communication Duties
- Respond to WhatsApp and social media enquiries
- Send appointment reminders and follow-up messages
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Coordinate health camp registrations and follow-ups
Skills Required
- Good communication skills in English, Kannada, Hindi (Tamil/Bengali optional)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of MS Excel and hospital software preferred
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple patients calmly
- Good teamwork and coordination skills
Qualification
- PUC / Degree preferred
- Experience in hospital or clinic reception preferred
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
