Job Title: Scaffolding Inspector
Location: Thane and over all western line
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary: Uniquo is looking for an experienced and qualified Scaffolding Inspector to inspect, monitor, and ensure the safety and quality of scaffolding structures at various project sites. The candidate will be responsible for checking scaffolding installations, identifying unsafe conditions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining proper inspection records.
Candidates with relevant experience in scaffolding, formwork, shuttering, or construction site supervision are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect scaffolding structures before use and at regular intervals.
- Ensure scaffolding is properly erected, secured, braced, and maintained.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, defects, or non-compliance.
- Check scaffolding components, platforms, access points, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and other safety arrangements.
- Verify that scaffolding is suitable for the intended load and work requirements.
- Prepare and maintain scaffolding inspection checklists, reports, and records.
- Ensure proper tagging and identification of inspected scaffolding.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and safety teams regarding scaffolding-related concerns.
- Recommend corrective actions wherever required and follow up until issues are resolved.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, site requirements, and company standards.
- Conduct re-inspections after modifications, repairs, adverse weather conditions, or other situations where required.
- Maintain proper documentation of all inspections and observations.
- Immediately escalate critical safety concerns to the concerned senior/site management.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- ITI candidates with 7–8 years of relevant experience may also apply.
- Scaffold Inspector Certificate is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in scaffolding inspection and construction/site operations is required.
- Candidates must have proper and verifiable experience letters from their previous companies.
- Candidates with experience in formwork and shuttering may also be considered for Foreman positions, subject to experience and suitability.
- Good knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, inspection procedures, and safety practices.
- Ability to identify hazards and unsafe scaffolding conditions.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work at construction/project sites.

Important Note: Scaffold Inspector Certification and proper experience documentation are mandatory for the Scaffolding Inspector position.Candidates with Formwork/Shuttering experience who are suitable for supervisory responsibilities may also be considered for Foreman positions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Thane, Maharashtra (Thane, Thane District)
